I am not a professional or qualified counsellor. However, I have done a number of self-development courses in which learning about counselling was a part. I've also undertaken training with Lifeline to become one of their telephone counsellors.
I've helped quite a few people with issues or problems in their lives, with positive results. I've also had three major personal crises in my life, which I've overcome over time. This gives me a level of empathy with others who are facing problems in their lives.
I'm highly ethical and keep utmost confidentiality.
One day, if I get the time, I might undertake some further study in this area to gain some formal qualifications. But even without that, other people have commented that they really enjoy chatting to me about issues in their lives and I've been able to give them some insight or clarity.
I really enjoy helping people have richer, more fulfilling lives, and to solve problems that might be confronting them. Change is very exciting, whether it's in oneself or others.
Because I'm not formally qualified, I don't really charge for counselling. It's just something I do sometimes to give back to people. I believe sometimes it's great to give things away for free, just to help others.
Of course time is an issue. Time is something I am very poor in. But I'll certainly help where I can.
If you're interested, please contact me. You can be sure no-one will know, and I'll treat you well.
