Speadsheet pictureI do a lot of spreadsheet work, and have for many years in my capacities as an accountant and casino games analyst.

I've been using spreadsheets since 1987. In 1993 I started using Microsoft Excel exclusively for spreadsheet work. In that time I've learnt how to make functional, clean and easy-to-use spreadsheets. Most people don't use Excel to its full capacity.

In my business mentoring work I often design spreadsheets that give business owners more control over their income and expenses. But spreadsheets can be used for so much more. You can incorporate them in your day-to-day activities to keep databases on your financial activities, client lists and so on. Then you can query those databases to create new income streams and business opportunities. You can create visually effective graphs and charts that illustrate things in a way that a list or table never could.

Spreadsheets can be very useful outside the workplace too. You can use them for social lists, hobbies and much more.
