Ok, I have had a lot to do with gambling in my life. And I've been very successful and made quite a bit of money at it. But what I do isn't really gambling, in a sense.

Along the way, I've had the misfortune of seeing the absolutely devastating effect that gambling can have on some people's lives. I've seen lies, deception, misery, family break-down, you name it.

I believe a gambling addiction is amongst the absolute worst of the addictions for a number of reasons that I won't go into here.

It makes me sad when I see people that have problems with their gambling.

I'm not an expert counsellor, or psychiatrist or sociologist or anything like that. But I do understand gambling in a way that they don't.

I am prepared to give a little of my time, absolutely free of charge, to anyone that has a gambling problem and would like to chat to me. It's just my way of giving a little back to the community. Call it some volunteer work.
